there will always be an other. it is inscribed in the creation of any space. the act of creating a space is inseparable from the creation of alterity. what needs to take place is a more complex understanding of differences. that nothing is as easy as it seems and that there is always something near which will negate any opinion of the other. the mixture of cultures ideas foods art is the most important step. the ideas of same and other need to be cracked open like a nut.
