I decided to leave Italy 2 years ago, when I finished my studies on Science of Communication. After 10 days I was in Damascus to learn Arabic language under the stimulus of my Arabic surname. I'm interested in the contradictions of this land, wrapped by a mysterious veil that ordinary people refuse to discover because of prejudices emphasized by those who simply think that Muslims are only terrorists and fight to spread religious fundamentalism. It’s easy to be influenced by partial news read in newspapers without investigating historical, social and economic causes. I try to analyze the meaning of reality and fiction, convinced that our existence is permeated by novelistic interpretations of events..
Who's afraid of something or someone is weak and susceptible, a target for the enemy.
Every action wait for a reaction of equal intensity. It-s possible to approach the answers that are sought by overcoming the constraints of prejudices and stereotypes, only then can draw knowledge: respecting the diversity that makes the concept of beauty that is never homologation.

-General coordinator and translator, assistant to the participation of two Iraqi directors to the "Kinemastik short film festival" www.kinemastik.org

-Reloading Images is a project that takes place in Damascus during 2008, different workshops between Syrian artists and Foreigner artists http://www.reloadingimages.org/

-English teacher in a Montessorri school for children from 2 to 4 years old.

-Offline:Baghdad not just another film festival is an opportunity for non embedded journalists, photographer and fixers to tell their stories.
The project born in Damascus spontaneously, 7 people gave life to this idea to help The Iraqi’s condition.
My job was to take care of the relations with foreigners embassies, to coordinate the work for the realization of the festival, to be translator from Arabic to Italian for the relations with the Press :Radio, Magazine, Newspapers and to present previously the festival in Sicily www.offlinebaghdad.org

-in Cham Palace my job was to take care about The Public Relation for the Publicity of the Massimo Pub, the design of the Menu, the brochure and the Poster.

-The documentary “The Beauty of Difference” was made with the support of the Syrian Minister of Information and the Syrian Tv.
The Project deals with the themes of integration between Syrian people and foreigners in Damascus.
The main question of the documentary is to understand how much Media, in genera, traditional Media,l give a realistic view of the reality of the Arabic countries, in particular Syria.

-Performance in serial Tv “The wall of Crying” for Syrian Tv and in different syrian soap operas, plus videoclips...

-Voluntary work in Tartus (Siria) with cingaleses refugees from Lebanon in the summer 2006 with Gus Onlus Association.

-Voluntary work with The Sicilian Civil Protection, logistic work in case of earthquake.

-www.mediasenzamediatori.org
about New Media and New Technologies, created by Michele Mezza, Teacher of Theories and Technique of New Media and vice President of Rai International. The website born thanks to the collaboration of the students of the course of New Media. the porpouse is to select news from internet and to study the new strategies of the communication. Media without mediation. As Internet gives more freedom in the research of topics and permits a new kind of interaction that was impossible with the old traditional Media. It's possible to communicate and to answer immediately, exchanging ideas, not just receiving input that could influence lobotomizing our mind, ideas...

Yaret in Sicily! I have been there only for few days, and now I a back to Syria. Fi Sham for a couple of days (still working on the Museum, but we are closing...) and in a couple of days in Ebla for the excavations.
